2、of general education. The reflection of teachers own teaching activity is an important approach of improving their quality. Improving the teaching reflective ability is one effective way of teachers specialization development. Taking Urumqis Uighur middle school teachers as subjects, the research ad
3、opts the methods which combine the qualitative study and the quantitative study to observe the characteristics and the influence factors of Uighur Middle School teachers teaching reflective ability in Urumqi. It can be divided into two parts: The first study adopts the quantity-oriented method. Thro
4、ugh using questionnaire, it discusses the present situation of teachers reflective ability and whether the different background factors influence the teachers teaching reflective ability. The second study adopts the quality-oriented method. It analyzes the reflective consciousness , the content, the
5、 method and the existing problem of the Uighur middle school teachers at present and the influence factors which is on the basis of observation and investigation. The result shows that (1) The characteristic of teachers teaching reflective practice shows that the teachers reflective level is not hig
6、h. The visual angle of teachers reflection is narrow. The awareness of teachers reflection is not enough. The reflective content is single. (2) The teachers different background variances _ III have different influences on the teachers teaching reflective ability. (3) School environment and teachers
7、 personality also make important influences on their teaching reflective ability. According to the results and the discoveries, countermeasures or suggestions must be put forward as the following: (1) Build school environment which is propitious to teachers reflection. (2) Strengthen teachers self-b
