Step3. Pre-reading 1. Background information The teacher tells students the backgrounds of the Olympic Games and some basic knowledge of it. 2. Brainstorm The teacher says, “ What words do you think we will need to talk about the Olympic Games?”. Then she writes the words “Olympic Games” in a circle on the blackboard, and collect the words from students. Then the teacher teaches more new words in English. After that, the teacher explains the future passive voice. Step 3 While-reading 1. Skimming The teacher asks the students to act the interview and have a main idea about the Olympic Games.2.
