    大学英语四(视听说)课程教学大纲(College English IV:Viewing,Listening and Speaking)制定单位:外国语学院大外部制 定 人:大学英语视听说课程组审 核 人:王侚(课程组长)编写时间:2013年2月4日第一部分 课程概述一、基本信息(一)课程代码:(二)课程属性、学分、学时公共基础课;学分1;周学时2,总学时32。(三)适用对象大学英语四级班(非英语专业本科二年级第二学期)。(四)先修课程与知识准备先修课程为大学英语三(视听说)。二、课程简介大学英语四(视听说)是针对我校非英语专业本科学生开设的一门语言实践必修课程。本课程旨在通过课堂视听说教学指导,给学生提供大量的听说练习和实践机会;通过指导学生使用在线系统进行课后自主学习,让学生在课外接触真实的语言交际材料,掌握一定的听说策略,全面提高听说能力;同时,提高学生跨文化交流的意识、技巧和语言交流能力。College English IV: Viewing, Listening and Speaking is a required language course for sophomores of non-English majors at Nanjing Audit University. The course, through in-class listening and speaking drills, will provide students with a lot of opportunities for improving oral English. The online autonomous learning platform shall offer students substantial real-life language materials. In this way, the students could master necessary strategies for listening and speaking, promoting their language skills as a whole. Meanwhile, this course is also expected to arouse students awareness of cross-cultural communication and equip them with some practical skills.三、教学目标本课程主要目标为综合培养学生的英语听力和口头交际能力;培养学生在能听懂音视频资料的基础上,对看懂、听懂的内容作出较为流利的交流、叙述和评说的能力;培养学生能用英语从事日常会话达到成功交流的能力。通过本课程一学期的学习后,学生应具备较好的听力理解能力以及对所听材料的分析、归纳、综合和推断的能力。更重要的是,通过课堂听力技巧的传授、练习及学生课后练习、单词积累并不断总结自我听力技巧,使学生的听力水平达到一个质的提高,并且通过全国大学英语四级考试。四、师资团队大学英语四(视听说)课程组学位职称Email电话周洁硕士助教zhoujienancy 王侚硕士讲师wangxun 江蓉硕士讲师margaret 郑方硕士助教zhengfang 五、教学资源选用教材与教学参考书:1. 郑树棠, 新视野大学英语(第二版):视听说教程4(学生用书),外语教学与研究出版社,2011年。2. 郑树棠, 新视野大学英语(第二版)视听说教程 4(教师用书),外语教学与研究出版社,2011年。3. 李霄翔,大学英语泛听4,外语教学与研究出版社,2008年9月。网络教学资源:1新视野大学英语在线系统:2毕博课程平台:http:/211.65.227.5/webapps/login/ 3大学英语教学网: 六、 教学要求1、 理论教学要求: 视听说课是一门综合了语音、词汇、语法、惯用法、背景知识、记忆以及概括能力的学科。它要求学生通过这门课的学习增长语言知识,提高语言技能、扩大知识面。视听说课要求学生集中注意力,学习正确的听力方法,养成良好听力习惯,提高英语语感,包括音的辨别、句子结构的分析、内容的判断乃至短时和长时忆的提高等。视听说课大量采用音、视频进行教学。学生通过观赏视频,增加对语境和语用场合了解,能够复述所观看的故事情节,讲述自己的理解和分析,具备用英语讲述和组织语言的能力;可以针对特定语境和语用场合中的若干话题,进行模仿、对话、讨论等;具备用英语解决实际问题的能力。听的要求:听懂英语授课,日常英语谈话和一般性题材讲座,以及语速在130/wpm左右的原版录音资料,并且运用听力技巧帮助理解,掌握中心大意,抓住要点。 听完第一、二遍,听懂原版录音资料的基本内容 听完第三遍,听懂该资料的细节 听完第四遍,对听到的内容作出描述、评论和创造性表达说的要求:在听力要求的基础上,将视听内容施以口头连贯表达。针对某一主题,运用英语会话策略,与老师、同学进行交流;对准备好的话题,能作简短发言,并且表达得比较清楚,语音、语调基本正确。 第一、二遍听或看完视听内容,对视听内容作基本描述 第三遍听或看完视听内容,对视听内容作出细节描述 第四遍听或看完视听内容,对视听内容作出评论 在听或看完视听内容的基础上创造性表达和发挥 能针对某一话题,进行讨论,发表自己的观点2、 实践教学内容与要求: 本课程实践教学包括两部分:一是学生的课外语言实践,要求学生用给定话题,选择贴切词汇(全国大学英语四级范围内),能够进行一定的阐述,并在课堂上进行口语汇报。此外,为了提高学生口语水平,课程组将为学生提供英文电影、演讲、朗读、会话、讨论等材料,鼓励学生在课外结成对子加强口语练习,并作为期末口语测试考查的内容之一。二是网络课程, 本课程积极探索网络课程建设,鼓励学生充分利用我校的Blackboard课程平台、“大学英语教学网”及“新视野大学英语在线系统”进行英语自主学习和师生网络互动。 七、学习要求学生须准时出勤,积极参与课堂活动,认真记好听力各项的听力技巧与方法,认真做好笔记,课后每天应有至少半个小时的相应练习,认真总结自己的听力方法,做到融会贯通。除此之外,课后还应积累一定量的单词(标准参考大学英语四级学生应达到的单词量),并加以应用于口语和听力当中,以口语练习为手段,增强对单词的理解与运用,最终目的是提到听力水平。学期末,每名学生的课程得分将结合其出勤率、课堂参与度、平时作业及期末考试情况综合得出。八、考核方案本课程的学期考核评价分为平时成绩和期末考试成绩。平时成绩占学期成绩的60,期末考试占总成绩的40%。构成平时成绩的主要评价项目是:学生出勤(10%)、课堂表现(10%)、课后作业(10%)和小测验(30%)。第二部分 教学进度表 周数授课次数章节课时 备注21A Lead-in to VLS 4 I.
