Step 4 facts and opinions We often use facts and opinions when we write. Facts are true statements. Opinions tell what we believe, feel or think. They may not be true. Turn to Page 17. Step 7 7 Writing Give the students 3-4 minutes for them to decide which changes to write about. Walk around to help the students to organize their ideas and get more ideas. Tell the students to write about their own experience because this may give their article power. Step 8 Language points Go through the article and help the students to locate some important sentence patterns. Explain some important language points.
