20、句做宾语,着重强调说话的内容,如say itagain (再说一遍 );6. might 的用法如下:(1) 情态动词 may 的过去式;He said that I might borrow his bike.他说我可以借他的自行车;(2) may 的虚拟语气形式,不表示过去 , 而 表 示 现 在或 将 来 , 意 为 “ 可以,可能”,语气比may 更委婉、客气,有时表示对可能性有所怀疑;例如:Might I borrow your bike.我 可 能 借 你 的 自行 车 吗 ? ( 语 气 比may 更委婉)He might come today.今日他可能会来;(对“他来”的可能
21、性有所怀疑)7. what to say 意思是“说什么”;在某些动词之后,可以用how, what, who,where,when后 面 跟 “ to+动 词 原形”;例如:Tell us what to do.告知我们应当做什么;I don t know who to invite.我不知道该邀请谁;8. bring的意思是“把某人或某物带来,拿来”,强调方向,即从别处拿到说话人这儿来;例如:Next time you come, bring me that book, please.下次你来的时候,把那本书带来;take 的 意 思 是 “ 把 人 或 物 带 走 , 拿走”,即从说话人
22、这儿带到别处去;例如:Whohastakenawaytoday s newspaper. 谁拿走了今日的报纸?另外,相像的词仍有get 和 fetch,表示欢迎下载精品学习资源“ 到 某 地 找 到 某 人 或 某 物 并 带 回来”,强调一去一回;例如:Go and get some water.去弄点水来;Can you fetch me some paper.你能给我取点纸吗?9. lookfor意为“查找”;find意为“找到,发觉”; find out 表示“经过观 察 、 探 索 、 调查 等 弄 清 楚 、 弄 明白”; discover 表示“发觉那些客观存在而不为人所知的实情
