In this paper, through the study of the novel “Little Women” and the life experience of Alcott, well analyze the relationship between Alcott and the heroine of “Little Women” Jo March. Jo March is th
4、e innuendo of Alcott. Contrasting from the perspectives of kinship view, love view and career view, we can see that Jo March is exactly Alcott of the novel “Little Women”. The works often has a special place in the readers hearts. The novel “Jane Eyre” written by the British woman writer Charlotte Bronte
10、is such a good novel, so as the “Little Women” written by the American woman writer Louisa May Alcott. Little Women is a masterpiece of Alcott. She is famous for this novel. This book described how the four sisters cared for one another and loved each other and the friendship between them and their
11、neighborhood during the period their mother went to other places to take care of their sick father. In this paper, we will focus on the study of the contrast of Alcott and the protagonist Jo March. Well search for the coherence point from the life trajectory of Alcott and Jo March and then study on

The novel “Little Women” depicts a self-respected, self-improved, self-supporting, self-loved and accom
13、modating family living story of four daughters under the mothers lead. The main thread of the story is the female who stay at home. The father stationed out of the home because of the war. The little women in the story have a different personality. The reasonable and loving mother taught the daughte
14、rs by personal example as well as verbal instruction. She told her daughters to help the families who were more impoverished families than their family. Facing with the serious illness of her husband, heavy work and trivial life, she bore hardship without complaint. The petite and slender Mag became
15、 a virtuous housewife through unremitting efforts. She overcame the shortcomings of the vanity and finally became the better half of her husband. The intelligent and independent Jo finally found the person who loved her the most after giving up her first love due to misunderstanding of Beths love. S
16、he became an amateur writer finally through tireless efforts. At the same time, she supplemented the familys income with her own hard-earned money. She was the central figure of four children in the family. The quiet and shy Beth was the most kind-hearted child in the family. She was ingenious and c
17、omposes a song of youth of being helpful with her life. Unfortunately, she was very ill because of taking care of sick children. Although being survived by a fluke, she ultimately died untimely unluckily because of the thin body. The sisters were extremely grieved for her death. She was the most eas
18、y-going child inside and outside the home. The lively and spoiled Amy was taken to the Europe to be raised because that her illustrious performance was appreciated by her aunt. She ultimately gave up this wonderful life because of her elder sisters death and went back to her hometown to live a happy
19、 life. Their family was very harmonious and warm. They grew into mature and sensible women gradually with the training and education of the mother. In turbulent times, they learned to cherish the most original and precious love, security, peace and health of the life. They learned to be good at givi
20、ng full play to their advantages, moved toward their goals, and finally lived a happy life.2 Brief introduction of the author Born in Germantown, Pennsylvania on 29 Nov., 1832, Louisa May Alcott was a famous American writer. Her father Brown Johnson Alcott was a self-taught philosopher, school refor
21、mers and utopia activists of Concord, Massachusetts. He was so indulged in the pursuit of ideals all his life as not to have the ability to take on family life. The burden of making a living fell on his wife firstly, and later fell on his second daughter Louisa May Alcott, who was with aggressive sp
22、irit. Louisa May Alcott ever served as a teacher, seamstress, nurse. She did the work about laundry. She also served as a maid at his age of 15. At the age of 10, Louisa had already been enthusiastic in the amateur theatricals. At the age of 15, she wrote her first melodrama. At the age of 21, she b
23、egan to publish poems and sketches. In 1868, a publisher suggested that she write a “girls book”. The she wrote “Little Women” according to the memories of her childhood.
