Where did you go? Did you go to ?难点:能够用一般过去时询问去过哪里和做过什么。三、教学过程Step 1 Warm-up1. Read and match呈现单词,请学生读单词,然后将动词原形与其相对应的过去式连线。T: Before we start our new lesson, lets read the words and match them so as to review what we learned last lesson.设计意图:通过学生感兴趣的连连看游戏,活跃课堂气氛,复习巩固上课时所学词汇。2. Look and talk 教师出示一些景点的图片,如:天山、吐鲁番、长城等。教师请学生说说景点的名称,是否去过这些景点及在这些景点的活动。T: Well done! Now lets look at some pictures and talk about them. Did you go there before? What did you do there?设计意图:通过图片的方式,引入本课时话题,为新知学习作好铺垫。3. Look and learn呈现课件,让学生了解中国传统节日的英文表达。T: OK! Now lets learn some festivals of China. 设计意图:通过文化知识补充,开拓学生的视野,引入本课时的话题。Step 2 Presentation1. Listen and learnT: John and Amy are talking about the Labour Day holiday. Where did John go over his holiday? Now lets listen to a dialogue. 播放Part A Lets talk 音频,请学生感知对话内容。设计意图:通过图文和音频,让学生感知对话内容。2. Look and learn(1)教师讲解词汇:fell, off, Labour Day, mule, Turpan, could, till并带读。T: First lets learn some new words. Please listen carefully.(2)呈现对话,教师标出重点句型,然后逐个讲解。T: Next lets learn some new sentences. Please listen carefully.教师讲解句型:What happened? 怎么了?Are you all right? 你还好吧?Im OK now. 我现在没事了。Where did you go? 你去哪儿了?It looks like a mule! 它看起来像头骡子!Did you go to Turpan? 你们去吐鲁番了吗?Yes, we did. 是的,我们去了。(3)教师翻译长句子。(4)教师讲解一般过去时的一般疑问句形式:设计意图:利用图文和课件,讲授本课的重点单词和句型,帮助学生牢记。3. Listen and answer播放Part A Lets talk 音频,让学生回答问题。最后核对答案。T: Now lets listen and then I will ask some students to answer the questions. (1)What happened to John last Saturday?(2)Where did John go on Labour Day?(3)Did John go to Turpan? 设计意图:通过问答练习,巩固本课时的重点知识,加深对对话的理解。4. Listen and follow播放Part A Lets talk 音频,让学生听音跟读。T: Now youve got to listen and follow. Pay much attention to the pronunciation.设计意图:引导学生通过看、听、说等途径来巩固对话。5. Language points教师讲解重点句型:Where did you go? 便于学生理解掌握。设计意图:归纳重点句型,加深学生理解及记忆。Step 3 Practice1. Listen and fill in the blanks播放Part A Lets talk 音频,让学生听音补全句子。T: Now youve got to listen and fill in the blanks. Pay much attention to it.设计意图:通过听音填空,进一步巩固对话内容。2. Role-play in pairs教师让学生同桌两人一组,分角色朗读课文。T: Now lets play in roles.设计意图:通过角色扮演,进一步加深对对话的理解。3. Free talk教师将学生分成几大组,请学生说说自己假期去哪里了,都做了什么事。T: Well done! Now I will divide you into groups. Where did you go over your holiday? What did you do? Please talk about it in groups.设计意图:通过组内自由问答,在练习运用本课重点词汇和句型的同时,锻炼了学生的综合语言运用能力。4. Listen and tick or cross教师播放Part A Lets try 音频,请学生边听音,边看课本Lets try,并在正确的图片的方框里打对勾,在错误的图片的方框里打错号。T: Now please turn to Page 24, lets try. Today is Monday. But John isnt at school. Where is John? What happened to him? Please listen carefully and tick or cross.最后教师核对答案。设计意图:通过听音判断对错,锻炼学生的听力水平。5. TestT: Now its time for you to take a test to check how youve learned. 完成随堂检测。Step 4 SummaryT: At last, lets summarize the main content of this lesson. 词汇:fell, off, Labour Day, mule, Turpan, could, till句型:What happened?
