1、外国语学院外国语学院中级听力中级听力 1教学大纲教学大纲一、 课程性质中级听力 1是英语专业本科二年级学生第一学期开设的一门专业必修课,是为培养学生的英语听、说、读、写、译能力,为本专业其他课程和高年级专业课的学习奠定语言基础的一门课程。二、课程教学目标和任务:中级听力1是一门英语听力技能培训课,其主要目的在于培养和提高学生理解英语口语、演讲、新闻报道等有声语言的速度和能力。本课程的教学目标在于传授系统的提高英语听力水平基础技能和相关知识,提供适合学生实际水平的听力训练资料及其互联网资源,通过课堂上的英语听力强化训练、强化训练指导和课后学生的自我强化训练,使学生逐步提高英语听力理解能力和速度,
2、了解不同国家和地区的英语语言各种不同发音特点,提高理解不同国家和地区的英语语言的能力。教学重点:提高英语听力理解水平基础技能和相关知识的传授,帮助学生寻找适合他们实际水平的听力训练资料及其互联网资源,课堂基础英语听力强化训练, 编选适合特殊学生群体的听力教学资料, 组织课堂内外的英语听力理解强化训练。 三、课程教学的基本要求中级听力1课列入学校的教学计划,成绩记入学生的档案,按照高等学校英语专业基础阶段英语教学大纲及本学院对大学生的教学,考核的有关规定,严格考核制度。中级听力1课教学时数为36学时。在完成规定学时的基础上,对学生的学习方法进行指导,有组织的开展第二课堂活动(组织班级或年级英语演
3、讲赛、英语岛、英语晚会、英语辩论会等)。造成生动活泼的语言环境,丰富学生的业余文化生活,提高他们的学习兴趣和运用语言的能力。中级听力1课的教学,根据每一届学生的具体情况编写适合学生学习特点的听力训练材料,采取相应的教学方法,组织有效的课堂内外强化训练。教基础阶段英语听力课的教师需要有高度的事业心和责任感,充分发挥自己的主动性和创造性,针对不同教学对象,充分调动学生的学习积极性和主动性,培养学生的独立工作能力。四、课程教学内容Lecture One Investigation and Introduction (4 hours)I. Teaching Objectives:The teachin
4、g objective of this lecture is to find out students understanding of this class and their general listening comprehension ability so that the special listening materials proper to suite their level can be prepared. II. Teaching emphasis and teaching difficulties: 1. Every student should be given a c
5、hance to express his or her understanding of the class, his or her suggestion for the class activities, students role in class, teachers role in class, the different ways to improve ones listening comprehension ability and his or her expectation this term.2. Teacher should very carefully listen to e
6、very student and note down special information of this class, their English level in listening comprehension and oral presentation, various misunderstanding in their effort to improve their English listening comprehension.3. Teacher should be well prepared and deliver a speech as short as possible s
7、o long it can give students a clear idea about what to say and have all the students actively get involved in the classroom discussion.III. Teaching content:Part 1. Teaching Objectives:Give a full detailed explanation on the class design and class requirements and its special reasons s
10、o that student know what to do in and out of class and why they have to do so.II. Teaching emphasis and teaching difficulties:1. Teacher should carefully prepare a lecture to make it clear to every student what our class design and requirements are and the reason behind the design and the requiremen
11、ts so that student will not only understand the class design and the requirement but also know clearly what they must do to achieve their expected goal. 2. Student should be given enough time to express their ideas if they have different opinions so as to have students willingly and actively get inv
