2、LO)对吴桥县 县直中学的 818名学生进行统一测评。被试来自三种类型学校,分别是普通中 学、重点中学、高收费校。被试由随机抽样选出。被试构成如下:普通中学 270人,重点中学 345人,高收费校203人; 7年级有 105人,其中男 45人, 女 60人; 8年级有 108人,其中男 48人,女 60人; 9年级有 121人,其中 男 63人,女 58人: 10年级有 190人, 其中男 85人,女 105人; 11年级有 160人,其中男 78人,女 82人; 12年级有 136人,其中男 51人,女 85人。 男生有 374人,女生有 444人。 调查结果显示,农村县级中学学生的自我概念
3、具有阶段性的特点。他们 主要在体能、诚实一可信赖、一般自我、与同性关系、与异性关系这几个维 度上自我概念比较积极 .农村中学生自我概念的年级差异非常显著。随年级 的增长,自我概念的得分会降低。在总体上,农村中学生自我概念的性别差异 不显著,但是在某些具体维度上表现出显著的性别差异。男生偏重于体能、 数学等方面,女生在言语 、与父母关系等维度上自我概念得分较高D但是, 在某些具体方面不同学校的学生表现出不同自我概念特征。 调査结果显示,在总体上,中学生的心理健康状况存在年级间的差异, 不存在性别和学校类型间的显著差异;但在具体维度上,中学生的心理健康 状况存在性别显著差异及学校类型间的显著差异。

6、 sound abilities to adapt and activelydevelop himself. The present paper aims to studythe self-concept and the psychological health of themiddle-school students in the counties in the countrysideand the relationship between the two, and pointout the underlying rules, in order that it can contributea
7、 theoretical basis to the moral education and psychologicalhealth education in the countryside middle-schools. In the study, SDQ and SCI90 are introduced to conducta unanimous evaluation of the 818 students in the middleschools that are directly under the supervision ofthe Wuqiao County. The student
8、s come from three typesof schools: normal middle schools, key middle schools, and middle schools with high tuition fee. Of all these randomlychosen students, 270 come from normal middleschools, 345 from key middle schools, and 203 from middleschools with high tuition fee. Of the 105 studentsin the 7
9、th grade, there are 45 boys and 60 girls* Of the 108 students in the 8th grade, there are 48 boys and 60 girls. Of the 121 students in the 9th grade, there are 63 boys and58 girls. Of the 190 students in the 10th grade, there are85 boys and 105 girls. Of the 160 students in the 11th grade, there are
10、 78 boys and 82 girls* Of the 136 students inthe 12th grade, there are 51 boys and 85 girls. So altogether, there are 374 boys and 444 girls. According to the study, the self-concept of the middle-schoolstudents in the counties displays differentcharacteristics in different phases. The students are
11、comparativelyactive mainly in the dimensions of pTheir self-concept varies greatly according to the gradesthey are in, and the higher their grade is, the lowermarks they get in this respect. As a whole, though sexdoes not play a significant role in their self-concept, it matters in some particular d
12、imensions. Boys putstress on mathematics and P.E., while girls have more self-conceptin speech and in the parents-daughter relationship- This Is in accordance with the traditionalthinking of boys and girls. As a whole, school types donot affect students self-concept. However, in some particularaspec
13、ts, students in different types of schoolsdo display different self-concept. Accordingto the study, normally speaking, the students, conditionsof psychological health differ from gradeto grade, but not so significant in terms of sex orschool types. However, in particular dimensions, the students1 co
14、nditions of psychological health differ greatly according to sex and school types. Their psychologicalproblems mainly focus on imposing others, beingupset or a sensitive relationship with other students, etc. In conclusion, the condition of the psychological healthof the middle-school students in th
15、e countiesin the countryside is not so optimistic, and requiresimmediate attention in the efforts to improve theeducational conditions in the countryside. The self-concept and the psychological health of themiddle-school students in the counties in the countrysideare correlated positively. The 8 ele
16、ments and thetotal marks of self-concept and that of SCI90 are correlatedwith each other negatively, or even extremelynegatively- Appearance is negatively correlated withSCL-90 either (with an exception to hostility and horror). The relationship with students of the other sexis positively correlated
17、 with the elements and the totalmarks in SCI90. The relationship with students ofthe same sex is positively correlated with the elementof sensitivity in SCL-90- It indicates that a positiveself-concept is significant in promoting students psychological health. In light of the study, to helpthe middl
18、e-school students form a positive self-conceptshould become an important subject in the educationof psychological health among middle-school students.
