21、certainly most enduring Gothic novels of the English literary tradition. Many films have been made on it. The classic monster or horror film of all time, director James Whales Frankenstein (1931) is the screen version of Mary Shelleys Gothic 1818 nightmarish novel of the same name. Now read about th
